Veterinary Care Assistant

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our nursing team at Corby Veterinary Surgery.

Our VCAs are be expected to have a pivotal role supporting the nursing and reception teams with their duties to ensure the smooth running of the day. Ideally working week will be on a part-time basis, working 27.5hours per week, flexible working days/hours may be considered.

About the Team

Corby Vets is a progressive SA first opinion practice with up-to-date technology. It is part of a 5-site group called Sampson Park Group so there's a brilliant opportunity for learning and delivers an excellent support network for growth and development. Our team is currently made up of 1/2 vets, 2 nurses and reception cover. We pride ourselves on our wellbeing initiatives and team engagement.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate would ideally possess some previous veterinary experience, or animal care qualifications, but we welcome applications from individuals who are wanting to progress into a veterinary type role with limited experience; enthusiasm and dedication are key to this role as full training will be provided
